La présence ou l'absence de clocher sur l'église permet de positionner les photos dans le temps. Le clocher a été détruit en 1917 et n'a pas été reconstruit.
The steeple of the church was destroyed in 1917 and was not rebuilt. So one can see if the pic is before or after this year.

This is a great set of picture to compare so many is very good.
It still looks to be a peaceful village, one in which cycling would be far far preferable to driving, gasoline or biofuels.
