The month theme "Graffiti or mural art" is out of reach for a village like Radonvilliers.

So I post two pics taken in the village of ESSOYES. Two huge reproductions of Auguste RENOIR's paintings. On the first painting, the baby is one of its sons, the movie maker Jean RENOIR.
And for Radonvilliers a mural inscription under an old window "1837 Gabriel MARTIN".

If there's a will there's a way :) I like the colour they chose to spray paint the wall.

I think this theme was made for you. What a sight! The inhabitants of the village are very fortunate. (I do not have street art up until tomorrow, so don't come by for that!)

Those lovely images don't seem at all like graffiti, Deslilas, nor does the inscribed name on the wall. Perhaps French people are more civilized and value beauty too much to have what I think of as graffiti on the walls. Jilly, from Menton in Provence said there was no graffiti in her town.
