A spider squats in my left outside rear-view miror, it travels with us between Sweden and France, and Champagne to o the Alpes around the Mont Blanc. It spins its web in the night and pichs its preys while we are driving then it coomes back behind the miror. Not yet a tame animal only a smart one who knows how to catch more insects.

Gerald, the famous English blogger has just told me he had lived the same adventure some years ago with Arabelle the arachnid.

Attention !
Car l'Araignée est là

Il est fort, agressif
Il a du sang radioactif
Il s'envole sur un fil
Et fait fi du péril
Attention !
Car l'Araignée est là

Si parfois la nuit
On découvre un mystère
L'Araignée surgit
Aussi vite que l'éclair

L'Araignée, l'Araignée
Toujours là pour nous protéger
Il apporte des secours
Et ne veut rien en retour

Pour lui, la vie est un combat
Et de l'action il y en a
Quand l'Araignée est là.

I had a spider on my wing mirror once. I created a mini website for Arabella and she had quite a following. The website alas no longer exists.

Have you named the spider yet? I like the vantage point.

That's a fun Skywatch post, a spider's eye view of the sky.

In your comment you asked about my family name - I'm not sure, but I'm told ancestors came from Normandy area.

I came to your 'Arabella' via Gerald. I'm fairly new to blogging so I didn't know he was famous!! I loved his poem. I, too, write poetry and I want to become a photographer, as I'm ispired by photos such as yours.
